It is in the nature of humans to build, create and invent. Developing apparatuses that facilitate a multitude of processes has been a driving force of humanity for centuries as has been for Kalmar Austria over the past 60 years.
Machines enable us to aim higher, lift heavier and calculate faster. We encounter them in the form of computers, heavy duty or forklift trucks, or carry them, quite literally, in the palms of our hands.
They have brought us a long way, because humankind has been doing its part to further this process. Machines were not just wished into existence through the snap of a finger, they started out as an idea.

60 Jahre Kalmar in Österreich. Kalmar ist einer der weltweit größten Hersteller von Staplern, Kränen und Schwerlastmaschinen. Vor 60 Jahren kam der erste Kalmar Stapler von Finnland nach Österreich. Heute ist Österreich die Basis für Central East Europe. Und hat einen Grund zu feiern.
